René Magritte

He was a Belgian surrealist painter born on November 21 - 1898. Is a very recognized artist, especially for one of his most famous work  " The Treachery of images"

I chose this artist because his works were my first approach to the world of art, he was the first artist that really caught my attention, I still remember when I was 15 years old, and I saw in a bookstore a book cover that I fell in love with, a book of surrealism.

 

I really like his style, his surrealist works, the concepts  and how he shows them to the world, he is an idol for me, and an example to follow. Also, he was a Scorpio, just like me;)

One of my favorites paints is "The Empire of light II", where he shows a contradictory environment with the light, creating almost an optical illusion.
